Wood wall art

Wood is an important material in oriental art as well as interior design. This must be because wood is easily available and is easy to work with. There are special kinds of wood that are preferred and they vary according to the product that is being worked on. Teak, for example, is preferred for furniture because of its durability. It has natural properties that make it resistant to termites and other wood destroyers.

Wood wall art is another example of a product that uses wood. They may come in the form of paneling. Panels range from the very plain, banking on the lines of its grain to display its beauty; to the very intricate designs of hand carved plaques. Wood wall art has evolved over the years and we now see modern abstract pieces that adorn major offices and homes. A musician will love to have this stunning artwork that showcases a keyboard suspended on a stylized musical stall in his studio.
