I love wine. Red or white, I don’t let a day go by without drinking a glass, usually with my family or a special someone. When I get home from work, I usually break out a bottle of wine and take one of my glass wine sets from the kitchen. These glass wine sets were a gift from my brother. He knew how much I take my wine seriously.
Red wine usually calls for the burgundy set. It’s a tall glass with a broad bowl, designed for full-bodied wines. For white wine, I use the white wine set that looks like a tapered champagne glass. Each set allows the full flavor of the wine to surface. It makes the wine drinking experience richer.

Burning incense is one of the most pleasurable things you can do to unwind. However, fire safety should always come first. Instead of using the traditional ash catchers, go for bottle incense burners instead. These eliminate the need for extra cleaning as well as the dangers of a curtain or table cloth to catch fire from a lighted incense end.
Here are other safety tips to keep in mind:
- Never leave burning incense unattended. Extinguish a stick if you are leaving the room.
- Keep an eye on burning incense and make sure the ash drops in the proper places.
- Be careful when moving burners as they can be hot on the skin.
- Ensure that lighted incense are placed away from flammable materials.

Not everyone agrees that higher thread count make better sheets. There are other factors worth considering. These are yarn size and ply. Yarn size refers to the thickness of the yarns that are used to make the fabric. A higher yarn size means a finer yarn. Generally sheets are made from a yarn size range of 40 to 100. Obviously, the finer the yarn, the more of them will fit in a square inch.
Ply refers to the number of individual yarns used as a strand. Single ply fabric is woven from one, individual yarn; 2-ply fabric is made from yarns that are twisted together and then woven. If 2-ply yarn is used, the finished construction will have twice the thread count of the same construction made from single ply yarn. 400tc Egyptian cotton sheets may be up there in thread count but it should also have a very high yarn size or it will come out bulky, thick and heavy.

There are different ways of caring for Tiffany style lighting, and the method you employ all depends on the type of glass that was used to make the lamp. If it’s opaque glass, you can clean your lamp with furniture polish made with lemon oil. Polish evenly with a clean rag. Lamps made with transparent glass can be cleaned with a regular glass cleaner.
On the other hand, if your lamp is made with jadestone, clean the jadestone with furniture oil that is made with lemon oil. If you have a Mica Tiffany lamp, do not make the mistake of using commercial cleaners. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth instead. If your Tiffany lamp is made of fabric so it does gather dust, but you can easily clean it with a duster, just make sure you don’t dust with a heavy hand. Otherwise, you will just be pushing the dust into the fabric. Should there be dust particles that won’t come off, wipe using a clean, dry rag.
