I have a small online business which allows me to stay at home with the kids. I have converted a part of my house into a home office, this way I can concentrate on my business when I need to, and be able to shut the door when it is high time to spend the rest of the day with my family. Having my own business allows me to be a full time mother without having to be far away from my kids, or coming home late hours.

One of the things i would need to do is to maintain an organized and clean home. The old one she had already broke down beyond repair, so this was a perfect replacement. I am sure she will definitely appreciate this holiday present for her collection.

My husband and I are still enjoying the early stages of our married life. We are yet to prepare in starting a family for ourselves, but for the meantime we are trying to make the most of whatever time we can spend together by ourselves, without kids crying for us or keeping us on our feet at all times. This is why we have made our humble abode into a place where we can simply relax and enjoy each others company.

In our garden, my husband and I installed some swinging chairs outdoor so we can be able to enjoy mornings or early afternoons outside. Here we can best appreciate the surroundings and be able to get a breath of fresh air. We need not worry about anything else but ourselves and have the time to talk to each other after being busy the entire week. This is the relaxing we all need given our busy work life.

In my home, I make it a point to buy fresh flowers regularly to embellish and beautify the space. I am simply enamored by flowers and their natural beauty. It is for this reason why I decided to convert my backyard into a garden. This way I can easily pick out flowers from my backyard which I can use to decorate tabletops and various nooks in the place.

Since I always make it a point that flowers are distributed all over the house, I invest in a number of beautiful vases which I make use of. This way, I can easily mix and match vases depending on the color of the flowers I have bought. I have a whole cabinet of these items so I can easily plan out the house décor without problems. This can also be handy whenever I plan parties or invite guests to come over. Not to mention those instances when my husband surprises me with beautiful flowers when he gets home from work.

I am quite picky when it comes to the items which I place in my home. Before I purchase something, I make it a point that it would match my style and personality, as well as the items which I already have in my place. I am very particular about my place, having worked so hard to get myself a great house where I can raise my kids even in the absence of a husband.

One of the things I am most proud about in my home is the pool area. I personally love the relaxing space which my designers have done for me. The lion head fountain serves as the focal point in my backyard, depicting my strong personality and strength of character. I have made quite a great job in achieving the things I have always wanted for myself. Now I am able to reap the benefits of my hard work, with my loved ones right here with me.

I am planning to host a party for family and friends in my new home. This is the first time I will be having my annual Christmas party in my new place, and I am pretty excited with the whole thing. I have worked hard to finally get the place that I want for me and my kids. After the divorce, I moved back to Miami and promised myself to get back up and make a new and better life for my children as well as myself.

Since I will be holding the party outdoors, I had some solar powered patio lights installed to brighten up the space more. The previous owners of the place hardly used the area, and since I prefer hanging out alfresco, I needed to improve the space. For sure guests will truly appreciate the home I have worked so hard for. Here’s to hoping everything else will turn out just fine during the party.

I used to be a fan of modern design because it was the popular designs that were being presented by people over the past few years. So I transformed my house into a modern looking one and for a few years I was contented with it. But then I woke up one day and I realized that I didn’t want it anymore. It was looked empty and was always bright that it made the whole house look like there was no warmth inside it.

So I asked my interior designer friend to come over and I told her that I want a change again. I wanted my house to look homier and warmer. She suggested that I mix my old design to the new one so that the whole redesign job she did before won’t come to waste. She brought back the tiffany style lighting and it instantly gave the warmth that I needed. I am looking forward to more improvements soon.
