Inexpensive Ways of Lighting the Hallway

Installing chandelier lighting is sometimes not enough to light the whole room. The harsh bright light of the chandelier is often countered by soft wall sconce lights. They offer diffused lighting on the walls that can be switched on for a romantic ambience. Sconce lights may be made of metal, glass or even fabric. Crafters go over each other’s heels trying to come up with designs that are unique and elegant at the same time.

A sconce light is never based on the floor. It is always attached to the wall. They are very useful in corridors and hallways to provide lighting as well a decorative touch. Sconces use only low bulb wattage making them very practical in homes. You can have them in a row down the hallway and not worry about spending too much on power.
