touch lamps
Most home shops today carry modern décor and furnishings. What would you do if you want good old fashioned home furnishings and décor? You have to go to shops that specialize in vintage or classic pieces. You can also go to shops that sell second hand furniture. Last week I went to see her newly fixed up place; I found it so charming. As I sat in her 70s style couch with touch lamps on both ends, I remembered how much these furnishings remind me of my childhood days.
The younger kids today may not be very familiar with touch lamps. Touch lamps may not be that popular in modern home shops. Simple no nonsense lamps are usually best for teenagers. Kids however will enjoy touch lamps; I know I did when I was a kid. A touch lamp is turned simply by touching or hitting the lamp. It can become brighter after it is touched a second time. The third touch usually turns the lamp off.
