Handle your stainless steel pots and pans with care to avoid discolorations and stains that will be difficult to remove. Here are some tips on cleaning stainless steel cookware:

~Hand wash your cookware in hot, soapy water then dry it thoroughly using a soft cloth before storing~If you use the dishwasher, remove your stainless steel cookware after the wash cycle. Dry it by hand to avoid spotting.~Clean chalky white residue by filling the pot or pan with 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water. Bring to a boil, let cool then wash thoroughly with hot, soapy water and dry.~Remove burnt food by filling the pan with warm, soapy water to cover the mess and let sit for one hour. Boil the water for 10 minutes, cool, then scrub with a nylon scouring pad.
