Soup is a basic part of the meal that is of course, best served hot. It is important to have at least one soup mug in our set utensils as they are different from coffee mugs as it is usually larger. It is commonly made of porcelain or china-ware. Some come with a saucer, handle and spoon. They come in various colors and designs.

In buying a soup mug, few things should be considered:

~It should have a shallow base to accommodate large volume of soup
~It should be microwave, oven and dishwasher safe
~Made of materials that doesn’t easily break
~It should be easy to clean
