Handmade bowls
Bowls have a certain kind of attraction for most people. Not only are they made of different textures and colors; they are also very functional. A bowl by itself will make a great centerpiece on a table. Filled with accent pieces, they are even more attractive. Handmade bowls are also made for serving food specially those that are made of ceramic or glazed clay. Wooden bowls are ideal for serving salads.
Handmade bowls need to be handled with care. While most bowls meant to hold food are approved for use in the dishwasher, microwave or oven, they may develop condensation on their bottom when filled with very hot food. Take care to use placemats instead of putting them directly on glass or wooden tables. It is always better to wash delicate handmade bowls by hand. Taking care not to expose them in high temperature for long periods will ensure that handmade bowls will provide you with its elegant service for a longer period of time.
