My bathroom at home does not smell good. It’s not that I don’t clean it; it’s just that it’s an old apartment building and sometimes the sewage pipes connecting all the bathrooms in the building bring out some smell. I have called the plumber several times and he just tells me to pour water on the drainage hole and the smell should go away. It hasn’t so I placed oil warmer, lit it with tea candle and placed some essential oils on top. My bathroom now smells of lavender flowers.

I first discovered oil warmer at a spa. An oil warmer consists of a small bowl on top where you put essential oils and just below that a space for a candle. The candle should warm the oil to let the scent fill the room. So far this is the most effective way for me to make a room smell good. I have tried scented sprays and candles but the scent does not last long. The oil warmer is the best and the most romantic accent you can put in a room.
