Bed skirts
Every bedroom’s focal point is the bed. By changing the bed’s appearance, one can easily transform the entire look of a bedroom’s already stale theme. A bed skirt or a dust ruffle is a piece of bedding fabric that covers the space between the box spring and the floor. It is both decorative as well as functional because it prevents dust from accumulating beneath the bed.
Bed skirts can be pleated and tailored or ruffled and gathered. ~Pleated bed skirts are made of flat panels of fabric with 2 or 3 splits on each of the sides and at the foot ~Ruffled bed skirts are continuous pieces of fabric that go around the 2 sides and foot of the bed which is sewn using a ruffled pattern at the top of the bed skirt
