I find that duvet covers are more practical than comforters. Comforters are heavy and thick and therefore not very easy to wash. They are also not practical to sleep under when the temperature is not really that cold. Duvets are light but comfy. The covers are just like sheets. They can be washed like an ordinary bed sheet and they dry quickly.

Duvets and duvet covers are easily available in bed linen stores. Duvet covers come in various fabrics – cotton, rayon, silk blends, micro fiber, or suede. Egyptian cotton duvet covers are soft and durable. They are easy to maintain. Because they are not quilted, they can be washed and dried often just like the ordinary bed sheet. Designs are plentiful and they can be coordinated with other fabrics in the room.
